Poetry that thinks out loud

JUSTICE

An evil man had been caught.
An unjust lesson is what was taught.
Many died whilst armies fought.
Justice being served was the thought.

Regardless of his crimes we hit a low.
Letting him hang, justice wasn't on show.
Justice is acting to the laws we know.
Who gave the right to let killing grow.

Many rules state you should not kill.
But uncontrolled anger fit's the bill.
World leaders think they're king of the hill.
And think they have, an exclusive deal.

Leaders think they're more important.
Its murder regardless of what they rant.
Breaking of laws seems to be constant.
And an eerie feeling, as the crowds chant.

How can we expect the world to learn.
When our own laws are of concern.
Respect is something you have to earn.
Its been that way, from the worlds first turn.
