 Loves Last hand
Sit we would along card table
Where once she'd smile and more than able
Stare at me with winning hand
Losing streak since then mine damned

Her bluff was good, better than mine
Sipping drinks for the last time
Raising the pot where then she'd call
Lost was our chance in love to fall

A royal flush would crush the dream
Applying blush cool was the scheme
It threw our game as she threw me
For a loop, my hand she'd see

Shake they would, just like a leaf
The pot was hers and our defeat
Would lay on table with losing hand
My greatest lost, our hearts demand

Today a poker face is what we try
To wear outside yet still inside
We play it off like it's all good
This game of love our heart withstood

Loves last hand came and won
The game that day, leaving undone
This game of chance where one will lose
Their turn, one shot, the question who's
