Firm in Faith and Love
Be vigilant and keep an eye,
For the evil one loves to spy;
Like a lion searching for food,
He waits for you in the right mood.
Within your faith always be strong,
Even if agony does prolong;
For when you become weak and quit,
He attempts for you to submit.
After you have gone through the pain,
Your brothers in Christ will remain;
Who had trouble nearly the same,
Helping you through your time of shame.
God of all grace has given you,
Brothers to help seeing things through;
Anytime either night or day,
And sitting with you as you pray.
For Jesus is up on His throne,
Ensuring you face nothing alone;
Set to give a helping hand,
Pulling you from the sinking sand.
Give each other a kiss of love,
As generated from above;
For the peace of Christ be in you,
As a love that is always true.
