singing the blues.....
singing the blues.
I decided on medication
To distract me from the blues;
Born out of frustration
Trying to keep within the rules.
Fear of being happy,
I spiraled; And went out of control;
Found my way back in,
Then pushed for a much easier role.
I have hiked up that gravel path…….
For the very last time,
The beast within has been conquered
I am now ready, willing and primed.
