Poetry that thinks out loud

ENERGIES COLLIDE

You took me off my feet.
Sparks flew as we did meet.
In a daze a tingling feeling.
Was it real or was I dreaming.

It felt like a childish urge.
So I touched you and felt a surge.
I shook and trembled inside.
As our energies did collide.

I was speechless for a while.
But then the doctor, he did smile.
To your head you took a knock.
After the initial electric shock.
