Poetry that thinks out loud

SEE WHAT I SEE

People look at me rather odd.
When I tell them that I am God.
I came back here as a test.
Only to find that they detest.

Each night they put me in a jacket.
On the floor with only a blanket.
A padded room with walls of white.
Like clouds of heaven but not quiet right.

It seems the people no longer hear.
And my message is no longer clear.
This it seems is my biggest fear.
My faith is no longer honored here.

To this world I've not caused harm.
And I sit here remaining calm.
Watching people who judge me.
If only they could see what I see.
