I've felt You near
lending a hand and a listening ear.
I needed the strength to walk another mile,
times were sad and I never smiled.
You brought me happiness as I talked to You,
my soul sensed peace as You saw me through.

I've felt lonesome and blue,
feelings of doubt and lacking confidence too.
I felt Your nudge as I wanted to give up,
You wiped my tears and filled my cup.
My steps are wider as I walk in Your light,
most times now I'm filled with delight.

I've seen Your guiding light
as I was in darkness and had "no" fight.
A ray of hope slipped in to see me through,
there was no doubts it had to be You.
Your love and care has never let me down,
I'll lean on "You God" to remain calm and sound.
