Spiritual Poems To Touch The Heart

FROM PRISON TO PRISON

Lord my heart is healing
my sorrows have turned to songs
I woke up one morning
and lost my records of wrongs

I searched for my chains
I could not see the bars
all the hurt that I held
was released with my scars

no guards to keep me enslaved
how could this be
it was that moment
I saw the warden was me

AWAKE GET-UP from your shackles
I heard YOU SHOUT!
your freed from your past
now get up and get out!

I'll live in YOUR freedom
for YOU paid a great price
I'll not doubt that I'm healed
I'll not even think twice

I'll Let freedom sing aloud
You'll be my new song
I want to be YOUR bond slave
for all my life long

1 Corinthians 7:22
For he that is called in the Lord,
being a servant, is the Lord's freeman:
likewise also he that is called,
being free, is Christ's servant.
