THE SECRET






The Secret

She lay on a carved ivory lounge
Over her slim tan body
she wore a misty gown of the softest silk

Her head was tucked down by her shoulder
A large red spot - the kiss of an asp
was between her emerald green eyes

The remnant of a soft smile lingered on her lips
A secret only she knew
A story that would forever remain untold
