Her Day
Comes once a year but there's no rest
Her your mom, yours the best
Her who changed diapers and mind
Her, Gods gift, one of a kind
Appreciate the warmness of
Mother, best friend made up of love
Your sweet tooth that needs its filling
The crave is her always fulfilling
Her role calls for full attention
To raise and feed and did we mention
Her sometimes we take for granted
When gone we'd wish we should have planted
More than just a peck on cheek
Hugs unending, not seen in weeks
Hands upon to reassure
Mom we miss now gone once yours
Hold them close for time will come
When your heart will come undone
Without mother who gave birth to
You sweet daughter and son loved too
Perfumed scent unique was hers
The one she wore, did it occur
Maybe shes out and needs her fill
Of it and you, her hearts pill
Hold fast to her who needs a hand
Walking with her and cane that stand
Like you support her very need
You pure joy and loving seed
For those of you who said goodbye
On this her day your heart will sigh
Be strong and know she too does miss
Dear child of hers from Heaven kissed
Happy Mothers Day to all. May God keep
you and yours in his loving arms today
