Somewhere in Lover's Twilight of yesterday's romantic bliss
There are two clinging shadows beautifully etched on a wall
Holding each other, in truth trying hard to stand on their own
Clinging to moonbeams and flirting with the man in the moon.
Their bodies dance with the light lifting senses out of sight
A kaleidoscope of hues mesmerizes, permeates the heart and soul
As they dream in sacred metaphors in sync with Nature's Creator,
A confluence of energetic passion insinuating their emotions
Sensual lips dare a careless whisper between his light and dark
Igniting fire-flamed kisses in amber and red, tinting the horizon
Reflecting on their moist flesh as they caress in the heat of passion
Their greeting of a bygone era with the flickering of a silent film.
Along the music of nightwinds playing through the sway of the trees,
They caressed in passion's embrace the excitement that lovers share
Touching...igniting sensation...undressing souls as they lay under
A canopy of cosmic candlelight they took flight in the tease of the night
"Lights, camera, action!", he then poses like Valentino in the "Shiek"
Willingly, she embraces poised with passion, now in sensual form
Seductively she dances, "The Seven Veils", falling into waiting arms
Where upon the call of action begins an assault of tender kisses fair.
"Feel the caress of my cosmic rays and allow yourself to be amazed,
Let all your receptors feel my heat only then will you be complete.
What powers you have, Oh Moon of Splendour! My body's being invaded
By your invisible beams as this man in the moon seduces my womanly ways?
The sweetness of her everything lies in a wake of royal nectar
Should I summon the God's of old to intensify and cascade the stars
Where shadows dance to the silence of violins? for love is only love
It's so easy to allow your imagination to hear a heaven's symphony.
He came into her heart surfing on moonbeams plunging her soul all aglow
His verve never waned, takes her beyond where anyone else could ever go
There's magic in his cells, in surrendering sigh, makes him a paradigm
There is no other love, never can be the same in this one moment in time
Halt there! Oh Lover's Moon, don't rush to leave the midnight skies!
You are an orb of light divine that embraces two people in sweet caress.
Glorious is this love extraordinarily unique, an effervescent dance in moonlit
Imprinting on skin with radiant heat, the state where true lovers are in.
And as I lay on the softness of Mother Nature's hand knitted quilt
One can not help but feel wrapped and cradled in her loving arms...
I watch the rise and fall of fireflies against a carpet of velvet ebony
Each night, come and witness the breathing of Mother Earth herself...
A heaven sent sign...in an ever refined design...
In lover's twilight...in the rhythm of the night...
