Twenty-five skirts
Twenty-five dresses
A hundred pairs of shoes
Trade all for one of the caresses

Down to five bikes
Five-hundred dishes
Exercise equipment
Take it all away for one of the wishes

Ten dressers
Two cars
Stove and refrigerator
Traded them all for one of the stars

Polyvinyl lattice fence
Shelves of all kinds of books
Garage full of stuff
Sell for one of his looks

Ten or Fifteen huge plants
Boxes of my poetry
Drawers full of DVD's
Give it all up for one of he

Job with the state
Forty-six thousand made last year
Phone to text
Throw it away to have one of these near

Where do I start?
What do you feel?
When will I have your heart?
Why do I want it to be real?
