Shadows roam my walls
I survey with changing eyes
Is my candle lit and flickering?
Thoughts wandering in disguise?
My cryptic method's elusive
With reasons I must find
There's writing on my walls
Worthy words become entwined
Follow each movement closely
Ponder every point of view
These shadows are casting spells
Over poetic verses just for you
Shadows dance across my ceiling
Upward I gaze to find
My feelings falling down upon
A soul no longer confined
Intangible edges move with grace
I touch the shadow I pine for
My dark knight comes quickly
With undying songs of evermore
