Obedient to Authority
Tolerate all the laws of man,
Even if you are not a fan;
Because the Lord reigns over all,
And will handle any downfall.
Narrow minded men are the fools,
That decide to make up new rules;
And contradict what God has said,
For people to follow instead.
The wicked rulers will be sent,
To the Lord about their intent;
And be punished for all the pain,
As inflicted during their reign.
For it is the pleasure of God,
In judging any reigning fraud;
Who are foolish and put to shame,
His faithful servants who proclaim.
Follow orders with all respect,
If differ still do not reject;
Because they will pay in due time.
For the Lord will wipe up the slime.
A sign of grace is to do right,
Pleasing the Lord within His sight;
With a reward that will await,
Entering through His Golden Gate.
