Being Transformed
We have been made servants of Christ,
Expected to have sacrificed;
Given mercy to remain strong,
For perseverance to prolong.
And because all of us proclaim,
We gave up secret things of shame;
No longer walking on pathways,
Whereas another person strays.
Never distort truth or deceit,
And we would never try to cheat;
Being true blue and not a fraud,
Blessed by the Holy Word of God.
For the Revelation is true,
Of what is forthcoming in view;
Standing before God in the light,
For what we have done wrong or right.
But if our good news is veiled,
Then our ending is entailed;
Through death in the lake of fire,
Since we are weak with desire.
Let the light shine within the dark,
Not to tempt you when you embark;
For Christ lit our hearts to know,
The righteous direction to go.
