I've thought about the meaning of sex.
I've thought about you.
We felt the time and experience of love.
It seems long ago that we fell in love.
I know I thought you beautiful.
You played the funny clown, the funny guy.
That acting is now over.
With a love breakdown,
the contrast is striking.
Pledges, promises, vows gone.
I go on with a desolate feeling.
I don't care what you're doing.
All we did together basks in a glow.
We have to imagine another flow.
The reality of love gave way to a dream.
Now I think you are not what you did seem.
Or, was the reality too hard on our dream?
I seek no answers because love is gone.
We are not a couple anymore.
When you achieve your proper status,
I'll know what I'm doing.

we drifted apart.
