THOSE WHO SOW IN TEARS
A little girl cries
thinking her tears
are not heard
she learns to be silent
uttering not a word
she becomes a mother
at the age of sixteen
but marriage creates
tears she
hadn't foreseen...
the older she gets
the deeper
she's steeped in
now she's a PRO
at hiding the tears within
as the years go by
there's too much time
spent crying
hopelessly she gives up
and now she dreams of dying
Then someone tells her
that she must be
BORN AGAIN
she invites Christ
into her heart
and has had new hope
since then....
she traded in her tears
for a future
filled with joy
instead of just existing
now she has a life to enjoy
Psalm 126:5b
"They that sow in tears shall reap in joy"
Though the sowing may be with many bitter sorrows,
the reaping will be with JOY EVERLASTING!
PRAYER
Grant us patience Lord to wait until
YOU turn our ashes to beauty,
till YOU exchange our mourning with the oil of JOY!!!
