If I had a dream
it would be of you
holding me very tight
all through a long night
If I had a rose
to give to you
I'd send it by hand
clear across this land
If I had a song
I'd sing it for you
to lighten your heart
if your dreams fall apart
If I shed a tear
it would be over you
only you can tear my eye
like rain drops from the sky
If my heart beats fast
it races because of your
knowing how to light my fire
touching me with tender desire
If I smile in the rain
I'll be smiling with you
as raindrops tickle my nose
while I listen to your prose
If I had a dream it would be true
There is no one else for me but you
If you had a dream
would you be dreaming of me too??
You are the only one living in my heart
Forever from it you shall never ever depart
