When Your Heart is Bigger Than Your Head
Sometimes the heart dictates the move
Seeking comfort, seeking to soothe
Itself from pain against the will
Of head on shoulders it's bitter pill
You chance that love it feels today
Is greater than what in it strays
Common sense to hold on to
A break unseen, denial too
The head now faced with great dilemma
Will try to tune the hearts antenna
To channel one in heart undone
By head not having any fun
This tug of war that has no end
In sight the head will try to mend
Broken, barely beating a heart
Clear cries head it's time to start
You had your fill and did not see
That she was never meant for thee
Falling too soon too fast for one
That left before their heart you won
Scare you do with sentiment
Values lost now head torments
With you aching needing lament
Buckling are knees fast in descent
I'll do my best to right this wrong
So listen please, you must be strong
Focus you must as we belong
To him weakened by failed loves song
All is love.... just not today.
