Poetry that thinks out loud

TWENTY SIX KEYS

There are twenty six keys staring at me;
So many things to write of you see.
These keys can tell you so many things
Within the words that a poem brings.

Feelings we have we share within words;
From the feeling of pain to the singing of birds.
Emotions expressed from keys on a board
And seen round the world from places abroad.

Where would we be with nothing to say;
Living like cavemen back in the day?
Trying to get by within our own way;
Surviving like animals from day to day.

Something so small has played a huge part;
Twenty six keys to type from the heart.
To share with the world is something so nice;
From a serious matter to plain old advice.
