Promise
Tradition veiled
in moral right
gives in to nature's
humble fight
Attraction awaits
completion of desire
Love consummating
seeds of that fire
Creation blessed
one heartbeat wrought
Of two bodies,
of one thought
Nucleus tended
One unit be
A whole from now
to eternity
Sealed with promise,
the sacred tie,
eternal devotion
until we die
