MY GREATEST PRESIDENT

You were the one
Who wanted to keep
Your personal life
Out of it all
And I do not blame you
For that
Any man would lie about
Being unfaithful
I would hope so as
Who wants to break
Someones heart
And let their marriage
Fall apart
In the eyes of the world
It is bad enough in
The eyes of your wife

You were the best
I was blessed to live
While you stood tall
Keeping us out of war
The what fors
Of living in this world
You were a peaceful man
I understand
You were for America
And I miss you
As my president

You are still helping others
And one discovers
The best in you
Is still coming through
I appreciate you still
And if it was my will
You would be the president forever
Too much to ask I know
As it is a difficult job
With people never giving you
A moments rest

And I have done what she did
Long before her name was ever known
Because women can be sentimental
When it comes to loving
They want a part of you
Forever to keep the memory alive
For some sweet time to remember later

You my greatest president
Brought us out of the recessions
Grip with wages frozen and lip
Of government spoke
with you where
Our country had few if any cares
And I didn't have to worry
About my son who will probably
Go fight somewhere soon

If he will come home in a body bag
Or worse disabled
After he's been labeled
As a tough guy and a fighter
All his sweet young life
Now with two kids and a wife
To get hurt too
I never had to worry about these things
With you
But now I do and I will
Because a mom's love is what I feel

Thank you Bill Clinton
I thank you everyday
For all my life
For the eight years you gave our country
America was a better place
With you in charge
And if Hillary would have gained
The democratic nomination
You would be back in the White House again

Thank you oh greatest president
of all my years
I am sure there will not be another
who will discover that he is a man
Just doing all he can
To help all of us here
To keep the budget clear
To keep our sons from dying
Even if you were lying
You only lied about your
Life that was none of
Our business anyway
Too bad trash had to be spread
Too bad dirty laundry was aired
But I for one never cared

Thank you o my greatest president
There will not be a man as good as you
To come there and speak to us with
The kindness of a human again
But still somehow you are my friend
On this social network site
And that will have to be alright
For now
Somehow I will go on
But I will not forget you even
After both of us are dead and gone
I will remember you in spirit
So for now I just want you to hear it
That you were the greatest
And that greatness will not die
You will just go to the White House
In the sky

To be loved
To be man
To be someone we could depend on
In my heart for so long
Many think the same
So never blame yourself
For anything bad
You are my greatest president
That I have ever had...
