VICTIMS.........
"Victim support" called today,
She tried to help me in her own kinda way;
"You have to take back the power that you once had"
For it leaves you feeling angry, outraged and real mad;
Talk to your doctor, it will calm your nerves;
Try some medication? It often works.
Get on a course, do a degree!
Take back the power ,"it helps set you free".
Don't just sit and ponder there's a lot to be done….
Cannot let the perpetrators think they have won;
Your knowledge is relevant! knowing the street;
You could help others who feel your defeat………
It don't really mater, how you're a victim of crime,
It all about "empowerment", a thin dividing line.
"Suffering" is" suffering", in every sense of the word ;
There are millions out there who suffer, the Millions that are not Heard;
dedicated to Julie.........an inspiration......
