Quite Obvious
The obvious becomes obscured
Upon our hands placed is the cure
To hold someone, to cup their face
To bring down forth Heavens embrace
A smile given is nothing strange
May yield, bring someone much needed change
In life matters, at home alone
Where emptiness a soul condones
The rush to get from here to there
The haste to leave a place where stares
Are blank, lifeless, just like a page
Or mannequins in windows staged
Sharing a moment seems much to bare
In world ablaze that does not care
Yet there's hope if you'd make time
To share Gods love, to help rewind
The clock inside of every heart
The joy it brings that sets apart
The living dead maybe in you
A chance to breathe and follow through
Make time today to know and give
Someone new life who fails to live
The life proposed, before your sight
Quite obvious, to shed Gods light
