 What a strange emotion
Love, what a strange emotion
Sometimes it reminds me of migrating birds
Heading off into the unknown
But knowing they will return
Maybe not the same birds
But they will return
No time frame
No fixed date
No certainty
But return they will

Love, what a strange emotion
Reminds of perfect dreams
Bliss and fulfilment
But once gone, once awoken
A dream was all it was
Close those eyes
Wish for it to return
But it doesn't
But you know it was a dream
Worth dreaming.
