Poetic Verses
Walking With Angels
Walking with angels now;
I've seen many go away
I really don't know how
with them I can stay
I'd like to think they see me,
as down from heaven gaze,
head bowed, on bended knee
they'd watch as I give praise
Struggling sometimes,
life can bring such pain;
like disconnected rhymes
and days just filled with rain;
But I'd rather this earth walk
courageous and so true
able to breathe and talk
and spend my time with you
I'm not ready to walk with angels, yet
though I wish on the stars and moon
and even if I fight and fret
I'll walk with angels soon
