Poetry that thinks out loud

SOAP BOOK

I log on and then I take a look
And see peoples lives within facebook.
Peoples tales are now not their own;
`cause on this site their lives are shown.

It is also a place that cheaters roam;
No longer the need to leave their home.
Anyone is reachable including old flames
And don't take long getting back to old games.

Nasty comments are placed on show;
Allowing tempers to then grow.
And people do it `cause they all know;
Another person will soon feel low.

It is like a soap that you see on T.V;
Lives are on show for all to see.
Personal or nasty there they will be
And it all happens before you and me.

People can read into writing so wrong;
And people reacting just doesn't take long.
Something so simple can get out of hand;
And purely because they did not understand.

So instead of posting comments so lame;
Take a moment and think of the shame.
The shame you bring upon your own name;
Because life is more than a soap opera game.
