Who Pray's To God?I had a thought this morning, While having a read of God's good book, And it dawned on me, that we pray for all, Then a thought got bigger, and stuck... Stuck in my mind for a while, And thought to myself, it isn't fair, That we pray for those who need God's help, But for God, I wonder who's there? I mean I have to say, for me, I pray for lots of people every night, And we all expect God to help others, In their individual plight! But then I thought, ‘who prays for God?' ‘Who is it that puts Him on their list, ‘And prays for Him, as well as others, ‘I bet my bottom dollar, He's missed... ‘...Missed off most people's prayer list, ‘Because He doesn't need our help, does He? ‘I mean, I've never prayed for Him, ‘He doesn't need help, as far as I could see...' But as I say, this morning, While reading my Bible, as I do, I suddenly thought, ‘oh dear me!' ‘And wondered what I should do?' So I decided that I would pray for Him, For I think He may need a little support? And while He helps everyone else out, I decided Help for Him should be sought! So from today I'm adding Him to my list, And pray for He who is above, And send to Him, as well as my prayers, All that's in my heart...and so much love! I wouldn't want to offend Him, But in the Bible, He doesn't say we can't pray... ...For Him, as well as for others... So I've decided I'm doing it every day!!
