Distance does not sever I need you I adore you conflicted chaos of my design trembling under breath confident in your hands a paradox ushering to the front our diversion reality seeps from my fingers reflected in your eyes shadow love, follow dusk, until it runs out what makes sense the truth hides beyond curtains unveiled in those moments that the lie need be heard saddled up for disappointment Its true I ache for the hour that night converges consuming all that does not succumb to the light Distance does not sever the binds we cling to undulating attempts at remission unable to forget the sound of laughter each time I fell down and the foregoing owns me the power you have over me serves to show proof that I can't shake loose your cold hearts desire I feel for you in the dark avert my eyes reach outside the peripheral satisfy the silence with thoughts unspoken my heart in your hand still you feel nothing for me I cradle the space that used to hold you fondle the memory savor the moment and the foregoing owns me the power you have over me serves to show proof that I can't shake loose your cold hearts desire Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
