MEMO TO A BLUE TOYOTA
Tonight, friend, we say good-bye,
Our play ends its long, long run,
And we've covered many a mile,
Enjoying all our share of fun.
Now our togetherness must cease,
You'll be replaced by a Kia new,
But rest well, my faithful friend,
I've such grand thoughts of you!
Such pleasant memories rarely die,
Lasting past our time of farewell,
It's been great, my old blue friend,
But now we've heard the final bell!
If there is an automobile heaven,
I've no doubt you'll be right there,
Watching me driving in my red Kia,
But far from Earth's wear and tear.
Thanks for the good times, my friend,
With your help, my life was whole,
Rest and relax in your retirement,
With Toyota the good times DID roll!
