LETTER TO A FRIEND
Hello dear friend~
Life is so fleeting isn't it?
We struggle for existence and
a place on the planet where we fit
and can call our own...
we love, giving all that we have
in the hopes that our souls
will be recognized...
we face our fears, hoping against hope
that the demons of the past
can be vanquished...
we express our desire,
and in physical closeness we seek to
fill ourselves up with another soul...
we sleep each night,
praying our dreams will be sweet
and if they are that they will
come alive for us in the morn...
and each day that passes brings moments
that vanish into history, living only
in the memories that become our reality...
and our legacy...
Life is so fleeting my friend...
live it...in full...right now!
Love to you across the miles
and across the weary...
