 Love
Some will think of love they know
Most will feel, maybe out grow
This feeling love that weakens knees
When lost imprisons a soul once free

It starts and reels the smallest heart
As years go by the grownup part
Becomes attached to soul mate found
Knocks the wind from sails when down

Pains the best in all of us
When wanders one you use to trust
Beckons when frail, a need to hold
What once was warm, is now stone cold

Love is real beyond all dreams
Love the kind that does not scheme
Love is He that knows of pain
Love that bled for you to gain

Love giving His son for you
Scourged when walked and nailed unto
A tree with sign that read of one
The King of Jews, when all was done

Love is here but won't barge in
Where selfish souls bathe in their sins
Yet still it waits for common sense
To wake and change mankind so dense

Love is here, but where are you?

Inspired by the song " Love Is Here " by Tenth Ave North
