 Island

Don't cry for Charlie
Jim
He wasn't worth the pain
Your tears as we stand in the wood
Sam
Are washed away by the rain
Beside the hole
We look at the stone
The name it isn't the same
As the one we knew and loved him by
We all share the guilt and the pain
You have your thoughts
And memories
But life is not the same
Now he is gone
And time goes by
The photograph unseen
The letter unread
An island left
Now let's move on
And say our last goodbye
