Supporting Leaders
Show that you appreciate,
All those who officiate;
As leaders exemplified,
And working as our guide.
I ask that you show them love,
For the position thereof;
Listen to how they instruct,
And actuate their conduct.
Love them for the work they do,
Each and every day through;
Showing them all your respect,
Despite some things you reject.
Live your life with them in peace,
And hostilities to cease;
Support them when they are right,
Informing of your delight.
But if they have gone astray,
Guide them back the proper way;
Be patient if they are weak,
Help them to find what they seek.
Always be joyful each day,
Never ceasing when you pray;
Showing God your desire,
That the Lord lights their fire.
