Walk Don't RunWalk Don't Run When I was young Through life I would run, Every day every miles The faster I ran! Then I got a little older The same miles seemed, So much longer! I had to slow down some I began to jog, Then only did I notice, More my surrounding! Growing a little older My jogs turned into walks, Much slower pace All I could see was beauty! All those years of running To and from, Racing through my youth, Now older much wiser Grasping each moment, Cherishing all the beauty, The wonders this life offers! To them who will take time, Why run it will pass by very quickly Enjoy ,smell the flowers, Make every mile every hour matter, For one day all you will have left, Of your youth is memories fading away.
