Echoes Of The Soul
YOUR EYES
When I wake up the first thing I think about is you,
How you are doing, what you are feeling, what you are going to do.
I go on about my day thinking about you and everything I want to say;
I wish you could always know since we met you have affected me this way.
Ever since I looked deep into those eyes,
My heart transcended into a paradise where all pain dies.
When I go to sleep the last thing I think about it you,
Dreaming of how great we would be together and all we could do.
Staring into those eyes I see time melt away;
A future where we are happily together someday.
In those eyes I see your soul, a beautiful place I want to be,
Where I can pull you close, and always hold you next to me.
Your eyes are like the sunset on a beautiful beach,
The windows to a place I am trying so hard to reach.
Wherever you are that is the place that I want to be,
And just stare into those eyes where my heart is set free.
Wherever you may go I will find you in my dreams,
Remembering your eyes and how they made me see.
