Love Hurt And Pain

My Name Is Giovonni...And I'm a very proud
member of the poetry society here on poetry
poem,Just a little about me,I was born first
generation Italin,My parents came here in the
in the late 1950's.
Coming from Salerno Italy and setteled in
Mulibu California where I grew up at on the
beach until I was 11 then move us to chicago
IL in a little nieborhood on the south side
Called Little Italy. although I was conceived
in Malibu i was born in the state of IL
I'm an ex Navy who proudly served his country
my father passed away when I was just 11and so
thats the reason we moved to chicago to live with
my Granma,not longer my mother would soon
follow and also passed away when i was just 16
years of age,at the age of 19 i meet someone,
was married for some years,had a daughter who
also passed away from crib death at the age of 5
months old,the pain was unbearable,so I found
myself lost in thought,losing my father then my
mother who was my best friend in life but passed
away at the young age of 39 years old from cancer
so to help ease my pain I begin to write,since the year
of 1981 when i lose my Mama i wrote a poem pretty
much ever day of my life,Enclosing on the front page
is a poem that I dedicate to all and pray that you never
forget to kiss all those you love at night,for tomorrow
is never promised to no one....
Just because you may assume that your partner or
children or close friends know you love them,some
times its alway good just to hear,3 little words that
always brings a smile to our faces,I only wish that
I could kiss my Mama or little baby girl and tell them i
love and miss them.....
