Fighting For Freedom

Do You See...
Stars imprints from billions of miles away,
On the outstretched arms of God,
Lightening up the darkest of nights,
While filtering moonbeams fall on the unaware.
Sunbeams bathe in gold the green leaves;
Arms pointed to the Heavens,
In joyous prayer they thrive in joy and peace,
While swinging on the breath of the tips of the winds.
Light makes the darkness scramble back into its holes ,

It's like a dream the things I've seen.

Morning…
Light makes the dark scramble,
Scurrying back into its holes and under rocks,
As the sun takes it place on life's stage.
Pouring and showering the earth –
A magnificent recipe of yellows and oranges,
Greeting in another day, dripping with new beginnings for all
Evening…
As the sun it sets to leave the moon it is aglow,
With mysteries and unknown things,
The dark comes filtering up from below.
Moonbeams wiggle to be set free,
To lighten up the dark –
And falls across the universe,
With such illuminating sparks
I see the sunbeams dripping with golden illumination,
Bouncing off the green leaves with arms outstretched
To Heaven offering up there silent prayer
The moon sends down it's silver moonbeams,

What shall I say and what shall I write
That I have walked on a moonless night
And unable to find the moon,
Found shadows and things of a darker kind instead?
There were no moonbeams to comfort me,
Not even a star in the sky to wish upon,
Though I kept my pace I felt the chill,
Of darkness having its nighttime fill
I could not keep my eyes fixed,
As the shadows boasted and laughed,
And there is nothing left to say,
So I think I will leave it at that.
I want to ride on the tip of the winds,
Bathe in morning dew clusters,
Be dressed in fine silky petals from Yellow Roses,
Sleep underneath the star speckled sky,
Join in the morning bird's proud and delightful song.
I want to run through fields of sunflowers,
Let the wind loose up my hair,
I want to live with nature wild,
Nothing else compares.
Goodbye steel built buildings,
Goodbye tar ridden streets,
I am off to find some solace,
In nature's place so sweet.
So if per chance you catch a glimpse,
Of me riding high in untamed land,
Just smile and know that I am free,
Free from societies hand.
Cause it's my time to leave,
Got my bag packed and ready to go,
Warm or cold, Dark or Light,
New gained freedom is worth the fight!
