Poetic-Verses

'' Regardless Of Colour Or Creed ''

The parents look on,
As their child cries,
It's a scene the world over,
As both are drawn,
It is no surprise,
Till they stop above they'll hover.

If in danger,
Yes, we'll be there,
We do it without any thought,
Even a stranger,
Will show they care,
We would not leave a child distraught.

To creed or colour,
That child is blind,
Why can't we see the light?
Our lives would be duller,
It is how we're defined,
No religion should ever cause spite.

Religion or race,
Is but an excuse,
Adult ignorance is disgusting and cruel,
Colour on a face,
Shouldn't merit abuse,
The intelligent one is a fool.

Our aim to protect,
Is inherent in all,
Every race feels exactly the same,
Why adults can't connect?
Really does appall,
As a species, we should all feel shame.

Under our skin,
Whenever we're bled,
The result becomes crystal clear,
It is what is within,
That flows blood red,
Yet still each other we fear.

That innocent child,
Could teach us,
Yet they're influenced by what we preach,
Soon they're defiled,
Yes, we cause the fuss,
Think hard about what you teach.

It is a fact,
Our love is true,
If as adults we wish to succeed,
We need to act,
Yes, me and you,
