'' This Is Me ''
In the quest to write verse,
In ourselves we immerse,
This world we traverse,
Holds the key.
When your mind's clear,
The words will appear,
It's a grammatical frontier,
Look and see.
You're off in full flow,
You can feel the glow,
You put on a show,
Feel the glee.
Make it short or long,
There's no right or wrong,
To your work they'll throng,
Make your plea.
Make your feelings known,
They have to be shown,
With the seeds you've sown,
They'll agree.
Write what you feel,
Even when surreal,
You are the real deal,
Words are free.
Never be put off,
By those who scoff,
Be they critic or toff,
Never flee.
Your talent will shine,
You'll be on cloud nine,
You can boast, it's all mine,
