Solitude

Welcome to my hell
The hell in which I dwell
Not much to luck at
Just a six by nine cell
I've yet to be judged by my peers
It was me that placed myself here
This I did some years ago
With life I've all but let go
The only light I see
Shines just beyond my reach
Solitude has taken its toll
Feeling like I've grown so very old
Living a life of do as your told
Kills the spirit of a care free soul
