true story
In the summer
With the sun so hot
I stepped on a rake
And it flew up
Hit me on the head
It wasn't to blame
But I called out
Defensive names
I should have stayed
In bed
Blood franticly runs down
Aching and pounding
I deliriously cried
Still moaning in pain
It was ugly
My skin red and raw
With black and blue
I felt so mad at myself
I must say it dealt
A blow so hard I felt
