Angel of Musical Inspiration
"Dragon Sword" (10/31/05)
So majestic in every way
its craft captures the eyes
of whomever it desires.
Revealing a sense of power
as well as superiority
in the metallic steel
and coldness it possesses.
Fire within the soul
to conquer all who disobey,
yet reward those followers
that supported each generation.
A way to thank,
but also destroy
the evils that harm
and the warriors that protect
those who foresee the future.
Here I held it
in my very hands
and inside me it created
a spell unknown to the person I was.
That same hypnotizing captivity
each reigning empire experienced
so many centuries past
when the responsibility to overcome
every battle placed before them.
In its entirety, its honorable existence,
the curse will forever remain
as the hardship of power
or the success for yearning victory.
