Traveling all these endless roads
Finding the shadows that I often followed
The shadows that settled when you left
The shadows of your touch, smell, voice and breath
You felt like a hand I could forever hold
You felt like a happy ending
In a story I was told
You smelled like rain falling on the street
You smelled like cuddling until we
Both fell asleep
You sounded like summer, spring, and autumn combined
You sounded like sight even if
I was blind
Your breath, it wasn't fair when they took it away
I saw all my colors
Fade to grey
I continue walking this lonely road
Reminded by shadows that overflowed
The memories we had before you left
I'll always remember your touch, smell, voice and breath
