From the Heart Through the Pen

yosph

I’d bet my heart on you…

I’m standing across the room

When you come within my view

Beauty at her finest

I’m frozen still

All eyes on you

I make my way to tell you, you’re beautiful

Classical music signaling an interlude

Disoriented thoughts

Nerves on edge & I cannot disguise
These endorphin highs or

My heart accelerations as

I finally catch your gorgeous jewels

Do you finally accept your role as my muse

Will your first time guarantee you’re my last

Thoughts I envision as our hearts gasp

Face to face

Our souls entangled

I wanna show you off

You sure you wanna walk through my fire

They’re watching you from all angles

But with us, we just see us
Gazes locked

I’m going to make you

Fall in love with me

Unbeknownst to you

We’re already falling for each other, love

What happens when we’re both hopeless

Turn the strings of my organ into keys

And stroke those ivories please

You’re the only I’ll let play my heart

...Right before our lips meet

I whisper “it’s already yours”

…3 hours later

It hasn’t decelerated

And you’re still none the wiser

I’m still drowning in your luminous bodies

How long will we call this a crush for

When from the jump you made it

On my Mount Rushmore

Sigh

I’m trying to resist

This urge of reigniting those flames

Behind your jewels, beautiful

Let me soothe your soul

See what happens when we both

Lose control and just let love…love
