Football Season
It 'appens evry season
And it 'appened here last week -
The game was interrupted
When somebody done a streak.
We was 'ammerin the 'ammers
Wiv abaht ten minits left
When this bird ran out on to the pitch
Of all 'er gear bereft.
The players they was gobsmacked
And they just stood there an' grinned
When she ran along the 'alf-way line,
Fings flapping in the wind.
Well you coulda rit a sonnet,
It was somefing to behold,
She was naked as they day that -
And it weren't 'alf bloomin cold.
When she reached the centre circle
She sat down on the grass.
And you shoulda heard the cheering
What round the ground did pass.
Then the law stepped in and spoilt the fun
Just like it always does.
She was very soon surrahnded
And picked up by the fuzz.
