"Crystal Lullabies"
SultryRose's Signatures
Crystal Lullabies
I call them Crystal Lullabies
She used to sing to me....
All those many years ago
While I sat, on Mama's knee
She would sing, so softly
I'd hang on to every word
Stashed away, in my mind...Are
Crystal Lullabies, that I've heard
Mama was never, too busy
To give a hug, or a squeeze
I, in turn...would obey her
And, always tried to please
Hardly ever a day went by
That Mama didn't sing a song
A sweet Crystal Lullaby
To last, the whole day long
Mama left us, many years ago
To see her again, I do long
She is in a better place, I know
Where she sings... A lilting song
I know one day, we will reunite
Beyond... those clouds in the sky
The day when, my soul takes flight
To those Pearly Gates, I'll fly
As I enter through, with Awe
I'll shout with joy.... And cry
For I know I'll hear Mama's voice
Singing, a sweet...Crystal Lullaby
