From the Heart Through the Pen

yosph
No Longer Lost

She stood where I stood
And lay where I lay
Yet for being so close
We were so far away

To each other not a word we could say
Imagine the pain
Imagine the day to day
Adding in to the sane

The kisses lacked flavor
Lost what I most savored
The twinkle gone from her eye
No longer my starlight

My reality no longer tied to fantasy
Room for her in my heart
Suddenly lost its capacity
Something here isn't right

She strayed with another
When I was supposed to be
Her best friend and lover
Now our happiness was the cost

The one who I couldn't get enough of
Shattered my world
I soon found that in love
I was no longer lost
