C.Marte was born and raised in L.I. New York, she is both a poet and a writer, currently working on a piece entitled "Chronicles of a Girl Lost" Loosely based on life experience. Although young in her early mid twenties many think of C.Marte as a wise and gifted writer. In tune with emotion and flowing on her own rhythm, this sets her apart from many. She writes heart-felt verses in a bilingual market, which make her both an exception and exceptional. This talented young women brought up in a single parent household has been writing since her pre-teen years, her collection contains dozens of journals to which she hopes to have published someday.
