I want to first thank you all for checking out my site.

I am a Photojournalist in the United States Army and I am recently
stationed in Afghanistan. I have been writing poetry for the past 17
years, since I was 10 years old.
Poetry has always been a huge part of my life.
I use it in my song writing and in my everyday writing as a journalist.
I am currently working on a book which I plan to have published by
March, 2007. I have had my poetry published a number of times in
various print outlets. I have also traveled throughout Texas performing
spoken word at many different spots within the State.
I plan to continue adding poems to this site so please keep checking
back for new stuff and please feel free to let me know what you think
about each one. I won't always be able to reply back due to missions here
in Afghanistan so please don't be mad if I don't get back at you asap.
